The Clean Energy Council has released its “Clean Energy at Work” report, the largest study of current and projected employment in the renewable energy industry in Australia. It predicts that around 70 per cent of renewable energy job opportunities to 2035 could be distributed across regional and rural Australia. #cradlecoastgoodenergy #hereforgood

Growing renewable energy generation such as wind, pumped hydro, hydrogen and solar will be more dispersed across regional Australia than the current concentrations around coal power generation. These projects create new jobs in Renewable Energy Zones for labourers, machine operators and drivers, trades, professional services and managers. In Tasmania, most of these jobs will be in the North West Tasmania Renewable Energy Zone, which covers the Cradle Coast.
