“Cradle Coast Funding Finder” launched to help businesses

Businesses, community groups, sporting clubs and not-for-profit organisations operating in the Cradle Coast region will be able to more easily find and apply for grants and government funding with the Cradle Coast Funding Finder.

Cradle Coast Authority (CCA) is providing this free service through the CCA website. Users can search for and filter funding opportunities by specifying a location, industry and type of project, and can view key eligibility information at a glance. The website also provides users with email alerts and other tools to maximise their chances of receiving the funding they need.

The site is updated daily and includes the most up-to-date COVID-19 stimulus package funding and hundreds of other funding opportunities provided by government, not-for-profit organisations and the private sector.

“There are hundreds of funding opportunities out there, but the process of sifting through them can be daunting and time consuming. The Funding Finder is a solution to that problem” said CCA CEO Daryl Connelly.

“This initiative was being considered for inclusion in futures budgets, however fast tracking and committing to it now is just one small way that we and our Member Councils can support the community during this difficult time,” he said.

CCA is jointly owned by the nine Councils of western and north-western Tasmania, to help them achieve regional outcomes and maintain strong local government by working together.
