Cradle Coast Authority (CCA) is calling for community input on the direction of planning and development in our region.
CCA Regional Planning Program Manager Jenny Donovan said the authority wants to make sure future development plans benefit from community input, to protect what is important to the population and create the best chances for our region to grow and thrive.
As the first step in the consultation process, CCA have prepared a short survey to identify what the community values and believes is important to protect or enhance and current challenges and opportunities within the region. This understanding will greatly help us to set our priorities for action as we review the plans for the region.
The findings of this survey will help inform future planning projects such as reviewing the Cradle Coast Regional Land Use Strategy to make sure it better helps protect and enhance those things that make our region such an amazing place. Although it has now closed CCA are seeking on going community input and community members are invited to fill in the survey below.
