Cradle Coast Authority (CCA) was established in 1999. It is jointly owned by eight regional Councils, with the purpose of building a stronger region.
CCA operates through three main functions: Strategic Services, Natural Resource Management (NRM), and Regional Development. Our activities are directed by the Representative’s Letter of Expectation (LoE), a comprehensive guiding document, in conjunction with the 2030 NRM Strategy and the Regional Futures Plan.
Our goal is a strong and sustainable region, brought to life through the collaboration of resilient councils. In this joint effort, residents, businesses, and government witness the real benefits of investing in the CCA model, simply put as ‘stronger councils, stronger region’.
Drawing on expertise in natural resource management, economic development, and corporate services, CCA is committed to ensuring that our region stays a great place to live, work, visit, and invest. We stand as a pillar for regional progress, working alongside councils and the community for a vibrant and sustainable future.
