Cradle Coast Authority (CCA) is pleased to announce Peter Voller PSM as the successful candidate for the position of Chair of the Cradle Coast Regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) Committee. This appointment has the full endorsement of both the CCA Board and Representatives.
Mr Voller has served as Chair of the NRM Committee since January 2018, providing steady leadership and strategic direction to the region’s natural resource management initiatives. Peter’s professional background includes organisational governance, policy review and design, property and landscape planning for sustainable farming systems and practical farm management. He brings years of hands-on involvement in managing natural values, as well as his work with culturally diverse and Aboriginal communities.
Additionally, his contributions to boardroom governance at local, regional, state, and national levels further strengthen his ability to lead the Committee effectively. Under his ongoing leadership, Peter aims to continue supporting the integration of natural values and community development across the region, contributing to a future where environmental and economic goals work together.
CCA Chair, the Hon. Sid Sidebottom, said, “Peter has a comprehensive understanding of CCA’s governance, operations and strategic objectives. He recognises the value of CCA’s role in advancing regional thinking and integrated approaches to economic, social, cultural and environmental sustainability.”
“Peter’s extensive experience and long-term commitment to the Cradle Coast region’s natural assets make him most suitable for this role. His vision is in line with the CCA’s mission to achieve integrated, sustainable results for communities and the environment.” Sid said.
CCA looks forward to ongoing collaboration with Peter and the CCNRM Committee to enhance the region’s resilience and natural resource management.
