Cradle Coast Authority (CCA) is seeking a skilled and experienced leader to join its Board as an Independent Director and Chair of the Regional Economic Development Committee (REDC).
CCA is jointly owned by the nine councils of north-west and western Tasmania and works collaboratively to deliver regional initiatives that support sustainable economic growth, environmental stewardship and community wellbeing.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight of regional economic development activities through the REDC and guide the continued implementation of CCA’s Regional Futures Plan, including the Regional Investment Framework. As Chair of the REDC, the successful applicant will also serve as an Independent Director on the CCA Board.
CCA Chair Ian Vanderbeek said the position offers an opportunity to help shape the region’s economic future.
“This is an important role that will help guide strategic investment and support opportunities for economic development across our region,” Mr Vanderbeek said.
