Cradle Coast NRM is proud to support the local community, which is why we’re thrilled to announce that applications are now open to our first aid sponsorship program.
The ‘Supporting Community Groups in First Aid’ program provides eligible community groups with funding to access first aid, CPR and emergency life support training through registered training providers. Open to all Landcare, Coastcare, Aboriginal, ‘Friends of’ groups and other community group volunteers who are currently actively engaged in natural resource management projects in the Cradle Coast region, the program will fund accredited training for up to two people per organisation.

Applications open today (Monday 20th January 2025) with all training to be completed by June 30th 2025. Sponsorships will be allocated to applicants based on date of application and eligibility until funding is exhausted, with eligible units including HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support and HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid.
